A Murder of Crows

My Dad told a story about his Dad last week. When he was 16, both he and my Grandpa noticed a attractive woman driving around. Apparently he looked at my Dad and said, "You know the world is really run by something that looks like a taco and smells like fish."

The reaction of the my virgin 16 year old Dad thought "It smells like fish?! D:"

At the table my Mom said, "It's been out too long if it smells like fish." xD

The trip was really fun, but I wish I could have spent more time with mah buddies. Still, I know they're really busy with school and stuff. So I feel lucky that they found some time to hang with me. It was really good to see them. ^.^ ~<3<3<3~

Things that I've been doing since I got back:
* driving up to school to work for a professor one day a week (Monday)
* working at the library
* trying to get sleep
* replacing the router since we got hit by lightning while I was gone D:
* being pissed about my summer class getting cancelled
* went to see Eddie Izzard live on May 31st \XD/
* uploading Japan photos
* helping my mom water and mulch her garden(s)
* catching up on Love Mode manga and Ai no Kusabi novels
* playing the new Super Mario Brothers for DS!
* fretting about the paper I still need to do

Eddie Izzard was pretty funny, but not hysterical. Though some of what he said I couldn't hear because of all the loud people that were clapping and yelling randomly. At some point through his routine, I found myself missing the uptight-ness of Japanese crowds. A Japanese crowd would never have been that loud. Anyways, Eddie Izzard was, sadly, not dressed as a woman when I saw him. He has a goatee for his roll in "The Riches" and he couldn't shave it off so he was dressed as a man. I did like his black jacket with coattails (and red lining on the inside). X3

Love Mode is getting more and more in depth for each character with every volume and I love it! The past two volumes that I bought and read (8 & 9) were all about Kiichi and Haruomi's past. Sooo weird, but I love it. Oh! And I knew that the Ai no Kusabi OVAs left out bits of plot when I watched it, but after reading two volumes it seems they left out CHUNKS of plot! D: There's so much more to this story than the OVAs lead you to believe. Like when Iason and Riki first met, Riki was barely 15 years old. In the OVAs, they make him look closer to 20. Why, oh, why must the third volume come out in August? *wants it nooooow*

And the paper... -_-;;; I made a deal with myself that I would spend this week just lazing about and devote myself to the paper starting tomorrow (Monday). I want to get this paper done so I can get it off my mind. And, if I end up failing the class, then I'll just have to drop my minor. I don't want it to end up like that, but if I can't deliver then that's the end of it. Besides that, I can start watching Kyo Kara Maou again once I'm done with the paper. X3 Selfish reasons? Yes, but it was a really BL cute anime and I want to continue watching it.

I had other things to ramble about, but I forgot. Oh well. :D/

I be sick. Naka-kon went from Friday to Sunday... The sickness technically started Saturday night. Luckily, my lungs are clear now. Still trying to get the crap out of my sinuses. There's so much stuff in my sinuses that it's making my ears and jaw hurt. D: Fucking flu.

I'll talk about Naka-kon and other stuff later. Here's a fun video to make you forget all the gross stuff I just said. :D/ Enjoy~

I've been driving to school for about two years now, but I've never witnessed a car accident till this morning. When I say witnessed, I mean that it happened 15 feet behind me and I watched it in my rear view mirror. D:

A little white car had pulled back onto the road from the shoulder, but the white SUV - that I had passed minutes prior - didn't see it. The SUV didn't even slow down; he/she hit the car doing about 70mph. The car had only accelerated to about 40 or 45mph. I saw the SUV's hood bend. Glass and shit flew everywhere. I didn't stop. I was too shocked and thanking everything that I could think of that I witnessed it instead of experienced it.

It was weird to watch it happen.

I am alive, but I am very tired still. I'm trying to clean off my computer, but I've come across this vicious cycle of clearing some space and then filling it right back up again. D: Damn you internet people and your downloads that I don't really need, but download anyways!

I wish I had dropped out of the Mochila Review within the first couple weeks of school this past semester. I attended my final for that class, but my work for it is not over. *sighs* Rawr.

I have two finals on Wednesday, work and a dinner on Thrusday, and a final on Friday - oh joy, oh glee. No work today (Tuesday), but I need to finish my extra work for Mochila a hand it in on Wednesday. I also have to hand in a report on Friday what I kind of have started.

I can't wait for next semester and its nine credit hours... I honestly can't remember what that's like. And I REALLY can't wait to move into the new house. I think elephants live above me. D:<

Tonight's mission: making four loaves of banana bread for my parents to take down to a big party thing at the lake.

One small snag in the plan though - there's only one baking dish. D:< So I'm making all of them one loaf at a time...
