karasumaakaneI've had this strange need to watch the Olympics most of the day lately. I blame China and their wonderful opening ceremonies that captivated me on Friday. Damn you and your awesome displays. The only part I could have done without was the Leage of Nations cause it took forrrrrrreverrrrrr. After the second hour, I looked at my sister and she had this look of "Wai isn't this done yet?? D:" I could only shrug and make the D: face back at her.
Yay for the China team winning the gold in the Men's Team Gymnastics! They looked really good - especially on the high bar. Japan did really good on the high bar also. Good thing, too, cause they messed up a lot on the vault. The US team did a really, really good job considering they were a team of n00bs and some were alternates. The only pick I have is with Kevin Tan (US) on the Pommel Horse. 12.775...? This is the OLYMPICS for crying out loud! Who gets a 12-point anything in the Olympics?! Oh, that's right, you. I understand that it's kind of impossible to get a huge score on Pommel. It's the least exciting of the men's gymnastics, but come on! The Pommel was the only thing you had to do in the team competition and you fudged it up royally. Way'a go, Kevin Tan. :b
On a sadder note, RIP Bernie Mac! :< Your hilarity will be stuck in my head for the rest of my life. ~♥~
