You never know how much crap you own until you have to put it in boxes. Did I own this much crap last time I moved? I don't remember, but I can't recall this being such a pain in the ass. Technically, I don't have as much stuff as my parents, but I've accumulated a fair amount.
The first things that got packed up was my manga, artbook, DVD, and VHS collections. It took about six medium sized boxes and one large box for all the anime box sets. *_* Actually, there's a seventh medium box with all my yaoi manga, but I'm taking that with me. And no one can stop me - mwahahahahaha! Besides with Cassie as my roommate she might want to read one of them. Who knows.
After the anime collections were moved, I began working on all my cosplay stuff.
( Which is ridiculous... )This is what I get for owning a lot of stuff. :P
I had a good laugh at the TV earlier when the talked about how "Memoirs of a Geisha" was expected to be a box office hit, but it turned out to be a flop. XD I can tell you why without even seeing the movie! The number one irk for me was how they are presenting the Geisha system and that they choose Chinese actors to do it. No offense meant to the Chinese actors/actresses, but can't we keep the Japanese culture intact for one fucking movie? Is it that hard? A movie about Geisha is appealing to me, but I think it is not appealing to most Americans. "The Last Samurai" was only a hit because it was about war and Tom Cruise was in it. As sad as it is to say that, it's the truth.
I hit the ceiling again on my hard drive this morning. I tried to download a NewS PV, but I only had 245MB left out of 114GB. I moved some stuff onto Mem and deleted some stuff I didn't want. I ended up deleting the first part of the Super Live Music Station only because the first part is useless without the second (which I don't have). I cleared out 4GB and hope the fill in some gaps in the Bleach episodes so I can burn them consecutively.
Le sigh... I should probably go pack some more. What a pain in the ass.
[EDIT]: Oh, I have PPOI! bound and ready to watch if anyone is interested.
