Tonight's mission: making four loaves of banana bread for my parents to take down to a big party thing at the lake.

One small snag in the plan though - there's only one baking dish. D:< So I'm making all of them one loaf at a time...

1 1/2 down (second one is in the oven), 2 to go

Oh, Akane. That's the kind of thing you ask neighbors for.

Ok, maybe not your neighbors neighbors, but people. In general. Somewhere. >.>

Walmart baby. I think a pan will cost you about five bucks. :D

Good to know that your cooking is in demand, ne?

Heh, I've got a crapload of brown bananas just waiting to be made into bread, too. We, however, have more than one loaf tin. I think we have 3 little ones and one big one.. but I'll probably be doing that on Thursday or the weekend.

Dollar General sells loaf pans for cheap! I know having had to buy everything that goes into a kitchen since I've moved into my apartment. Well technically my grandma hall is awesome and gave me a ton of stuff and then I had to go buy it!
She gave me a toaster from the 60's/50's... it doesn't have a polarized plug!!! (you know one side is bigger than the other.. thing) I hope that is not dangerous to use.. << >>

*laughs* I hope you never have to either! I just figure beggars can't be choosers. I have a coffee maker from her too that looks like nothing I've ever seen before.. He looks like hot pot, but then it has a place to put coffee in it. Luckily she left the instructions with it.

It must be because I just wrote that without thinking about it

That toaster should be fine. If it makes a weird noise if you want the bread to heat longer, though, you have to flip the bread and let it cool for a second.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to accidently burn down the apartment with a toaster. (by using a non polorized plug in the outlet I'm glad its ok... I don't want to have to buy a new toaster.. this old one works fine!)
