I was going to write out a full report of Ohayocon, but I've lost the heart. If you want detail go here. I'm not too happy with Ami at the moment, but I wouldn't be happy anyways. I spent a total of 20 or so hours driving to and from Ohio and it seems that I am the only one that even partially enjoyed it. How did that happen? I have no idea.

The convention and hotel were very nice and organized - except for the masquerade. It was, by far, the most horrible display I have ever been involved in. I would not have minded dropping the masquerade and just spent the rest of the day going to the Steve Conte concert. Either way it is over now.


Thursday-------
- long, long, long drive up there
- registered Ami's last name as Boston instead of Austin
- sleep at 5AM

Friday---------
- wore Katan most of the day (got some hugs cause of it)
- Was almost in heaven in the dealers room
- Took wings off then I was in heaven (in dealer's room)
- Went to PGSM panel (a little disorganized, but a lot of info was given)
- won Princess Sailor Moon's harp/sword thing & DDRNinja's art of PGSM Zoisite!
- let Ami die in hotel room
- in plain clothes Hotaru and I went to FMA panel w/ voice actors/writer/director
- FMA panel fun as hell!
- Went to eat
- Watched some live action GTO (also funny as hell)
- signed up for the masquarade
- sleep

Saturday-------
- dressed in Super Live & downstairs at 10AM
- Stayed there & frozen my ass off till 2PM
- when up and changed for Angel Sanctuary photoshoot
- was late, but so was everyone else
- hung out till 3PM
- Changed back into Super Live and ate
- dealers room
- back in line for the cosplay by 5PM
- waited in line & was moved around till we got on stage by 8:15 (show was 2hrs &15mins late)
- performance was not good
- got interviewed by some guys doing a documentary
- Waited till end of the show (Naruto and Jiryaya won, yeah!)
- Talked to the Eurobeat King (really nice guy)
- Got pictures taken
- sleep

Sunday--------
- discovered it had snowed (scared me to drive again)
- dressed as Nittle Grasper
- tried to see Steve Conte (Ami and Hotaru got to see him some)
- dealers room
- Cosplay Gripe
- Went upstairs and packed to leave
- left hotel and started long drive home (drive up was the practice run)

Monday--------
- Got to my house at 1AM-ish
- began to feel weird about 4AM
- got sick at 10AM
- slept
- got sick at Noon
- went to sleep and woke up at 5PM w/ a fever
- tried to eat/took some Advil for fever and soreness
- blissfully numb
- went to sleep by midnight

Tuesday-------
- feeling 90% better
- ate some lunch with family
- got books for school
- finished emptying car
- checkin' da e-mail


And yes, Ami, I have gained weight... thanks for noticing. I wish school didn't start tomorrow... I still have a H-U-G-E dose of people poisoning. Plus, I am still actually sick. I am a lot better then yesterday, but I still feel like I could throw up on someone. Hell, I've already thrown up in a trashcan; I could use a change of scenery. ><
