karasumaakaneHmmm, Thanksgiving... It was alright. I still have that magical ability to attract younger cousins though. I had hoped it wouldn't be so strong, but no such luck. My cousin Kristen sticks to me like glue when ever I see her. The last time I saw her she was really short and 10 years old. Now she's almost thirteen and about 4 inches shorter than me. She looks more grown up, but she's still very much a kid. Whenever I would make a statement she would echo with "Me too!" or "I know what you mean...". Because she was being a cling-on I played a lot of games in three days. Mostly cards games: war, spoons, egyptian rat slap, poker, and rumy. I also played chess and Trivial Pursuit with my sister. My sister forgot Captain James T. Kirk! Aaaaa! Her first entertainment question was: "Who was the captain of the Starship Enterprise?" (keep in mind this is an old edition) She said all she could think of was Captain Picard, Spock, Han Solo, and a quote from an Ace Ventura movie! ("There's... someone on the wing! Some... THING!") WTF?!
That's alright. I screwed up a nursery rhyme, badly. Three little kittens lost their ____ Mittens is the rest of it, but not in my head. I said 'lunch'. Yes, ladies and gents, three little kittens lost their lunch... Ugh. o.<
It was good to see the rest of my family, most of them anyways. The house was jam-packed and not all my aunts, uncles, and cousins were present. Got to interview my grandma for an Oral History report - Kristen and my sister sat in the area, eavesdropping.
Is it possible for men to show PMS-like symptoms? I'm beginning to think so. My dad seems to get more moody as the years go on. It was not so bad before, but it is getting ridiculous now. He was fairly happy over the weekend, but today he vented some anger at my sister and I. Literally minutes later, he talked to us like he never said it. 0.o What is wrong with you?? The schizo behavior is not amusing.
I forgot. I had some hard times Wednesday night/Thursday afternoon. Last Wednesday night in the hotel room, my stomach started to hurt. Then it hurt more, reaching to my back. After a while it felt like someone was trying to pull my rib cage out of my skin and I began to panic. Because of my panic, I hyperventilated and couldn't breath. It took me a while to calm back down and my stomach was sore the rest of the night. I had another flare of pain Thursday afternoon, but I remained calm so it wasn't even half as bad. My dad theorized that it was either my digestive tract spasming or I passed a gall stone. Pardon? A what? Apparently the passing of gall stones happens all the time without problems, but sometimes they get stuck. I'm alright and ready in case it happens again, but still... ouch.
Went to pick up Ami Saturday night to see "Alexander" and was enlightened about my flat tire. Not sure how long it was like that, but it was flat a hell. I later found out that it had two nails in it. Fucking construction. >< Besides the flat tire, the movie was AWESOME!! Ahh, yaoi in mainstream American movies. It wasn't hardcore, but it was so cute! I might have to buy the movie and just watch the good parts. *wink, wink* It was good to sit there with Ami and Hotaru, watching anime. I slowly began to feel like an individual again, instead of a name in the family tree.
