New kinds of addiction

karasumaakaneI think I am developing an unhealthy obsession with JE groups... More specifically KAT-TUN and NEWS. I already know a lot about Arashi and love their music, but I keep diving into the other groups head first. When I first saw the "Seishun Amigo" video I thought YamaPi look weird, but after watching Nobuta. wo Produce he just becomes cuter. It's times like this when I wish I had a smaller screen size. All of the YamaPi wallpapers I've found are in the standard 1024x768 size, but my screen is a 1280x1024. I don't like stretching wallpapers like that; it looks unprofessional. Sure, I could make one for myself, but I don't really want to. I started making wallpapers so I could use them, but I never could because I made them. Then after a while they started looking crappy, so I haven't done it in a while. I was actually thinking of taking down my wallpaper site. It's just taking up space and bandwidth. We could do more useful things with the space freed up from deletion.
Hmm... I should probably talk about more interesting things. Our house sold. We have to move out by Febuary 13th. That's kind of irrelevant for me right now because I have to more into the dorms in a less than ten days. I don't like moving. It bums me out. I hope they don't have ports blocked in the dorms. It they do, I might cry - a lot.
New Year's (Eve & day) was pretty fun. Ami, Luna, and Hotaru came over for the long haul and we ended up playing a Nobuta. wo Produce drinking game because we were watching the series. Ami and I were drinking Asti, Luna had Smirnoff Twist, and Hotaru had Dr. Pepper. Hotaru's such a good minor. About half way through the second bottle, Ami took to water. I didn't want to waste good champagne so I drank the rest myself. The room tilted around some, but I didn't wake up with a hang over and I remember everything that happened. Sucuess! I guess that's one good thing about being a "heavy weight". Luna has lost so much weight that she had to call it quits earlier than Ami. Poor Kitty.
Elizabeth stopped by earlier in the evening around the gift exchange and eating of pizza. Keeping with the theme from Christmas, I made off like a bandit again! I got chicken ramen and the Kiss of Fire artbook by Youka Nitta from Luna, chopsticks and a beautiful Dollfie (27cm male) model from Ami, and a rediculiously huge T.M. Revolution 2006 calendar from Hotaru!! *_* That calendar is defiantely coming with me to the dorm! I sooo win, again! I have spent a long while oogling over my new artbook. Who wouldn't?! I felt bad that my poor Dollfie man came nekkid, so I found a pair of jeans, a Coke~a~Cola shirt, and socks for him at the "thrift store" (my old Barbie doll collection). I've already decided to get him an eye color called 'dark cherry', but I'm not sure what hair color he should be. I was tossing around the name Lucian too, but it doesn't seem right. Maybe I should hold off on the name until I give him a face.
I'm not sure what is up with some of these icon makers lately. On some of the JE communities, they will advertise their icons, but the journal is friends only. Am I the only one that sees a small flaw in this? Has icon theiving become that bad?? It must be if they're going to such extremes. I was supposed to share some icons, but I can only remember the one I was describing to Ami. I think I was supposed to show one to Luna, but I can't think of what it was.

Date: 2006-01-04 03:09 am (UTC)Haha, the only reason for locking those icon journals is that they want people to watch them. It's sad but true, it happens with resource journals as well. I don't think the reason is really icon theft, because people can steal the icons from every single post or comment.
Geez, people, provide quality icons and people will eventually watch you >_<
