Seeing that most people have updated recently, I thought I might do the same. I mean, an actual entry about myself - who knew!

I had Luna time yesterday, and I get Ami time later today! ^_^ YEAH!! Good stuff.

I hope Ami wasn't too upset about the vanity talk. What I have to say about vanity has no merit cause I hide from mirrors. So even the idea of liking mirrors is strange to me. I just don't like them and I'm not sure why. Mysteries of the universe it is!

I helped assemble Hotaru's new computer because I feared her family would attempt it. So after I got it all set up and transfered her files, I checked to see if the internet worked - and it didn't. Luckily, Ami was there to save the day and she enabled the actual connection. It was a cable modem connection and I, as a dial-up user, was confused to no end. Thank cheese Ami was there. The rest was up to the cable men to register them - which they did and I got a voicemail from Hotaru rejoicing the occasion. She's so cute.

School would proabably be the next logical thing to cover. I took a summer (history 120) class so I could take my last two classes this semester to graduate. Unfortunately, Sasso appeared in the picture. (Side note: I apologize if you've already suffered through my Sasso rant because here it goes again.) Sasso is a teacher that looks like the 70's ralphed him up. His suit choices have ranged from pink, maroon, light grey, baby blue, and shit brown. Always with a short sleeved business shirt! I can over look dressing habits if the teacher is good, but he's not. At first I was going to tranfer out of his class, but soon found out that I wasn't able to. I decided to stick it out the semester, but today he spent 10 - 15 minutes justifying the Jesuit missionaries forcing their religion and lifestyle on Native Americans. I sat in class looking at him and I thought to myself, 'Oh, hell no!'

So going to drop history 121. I feel bad because I've never dropped a class before, but I will fail this class if he remains my instructor. I know what I can handle and he is not something I can deal with. I like Young though; he's an excellent teacher. This decision on the other hand sets me back a semester and I'll only be taking 3 credit hours. Sad? Yes, it is. So I also decided to get another job. First decided on the library, but I might not get it. I'll try other places as well.

While having Luna time today (yeah!), I also got the extra fabric to alter the Ryuichi shirt. The fabric is a little darker, but it was the closest match. Now sewing the ruffles on might be a problem. We shall see. AnimeIowa is next weekend. I am excited about it, but when I think about it the "to-do" list pops up in my head also. It's freaking haunting me!! Grrrr. . . .

My site is averaging at 700 page loads a month. Which, when compared to Ami's site, is rather sad, but I guess it's not bad for a personal wallpaper site. Every once in a while people will search for "ashe wallpapers", but in this search my site, Ashe from Final Fantasy XII (XI?), and a porn star named Danni Ashe come up about 90% of the time. I've been sorted with the best of them. . . .not really.

I hope Cassie is truly doing okay in MWSC. Of course, I am eventually going to have to do the same thing. I'll probably end up going to Missouri Western a semester later than planned, but that's okay. Nothing really goes the way I planned it to - that's why backup plans rock my world.

My sister and I rented movies today. We each got a movie we personally wanted and another that was recommended in some way or another. The one I recommended to her was "Ella Enchanted". So we watched it, and I could help think of the time everyone saw it in the theatres. I was kind of the outcast on that occasion - everyone had previously read or knew of the book except me. Ooops. I blame Anne Rice for that one, damn her vampire chronicles!! Not really, I like them. I also explained to my sister what happened in "Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement" and she was livid. Glad to know Ami and I were not the only ones upset that she got with the weasel. Rawr! She demanded to know the ending in the book, but I couldn't remember. I was going to call Ami and ask her, but I bothered her nap earlier today and I felt bad. So I decided I'd ask her later. We tried to watch "The Ladykillers", but neither of us could finish watching it. I didn't like it. My sister then watched the movie she picked for herself, and I am here. I'll have to watch "Cowboy BeBop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door" sometime before the weekend.

Shiny, shiny, shiny. . . . Wow, that last paragraph was a doozy! Ugh. I should probably go to sleep. I have a class to drop and Ami time! Boo-yah!

"Here you are; what the hell is this?!"
"Sweetie, that's tuna salad."
"Oh, is that what it is? Really - because I could have sworn it was mayonnaise and cat food."

Ethernet, yo. The connection isn't standard practice, so unless you ordered the card installed by the manufacturer, like with my laptop, you need to pop the top and throw in the hardware... Which worked well, it seems. How the fuck I remembered how it all layed out when I haven't installed/seen an installation of a cable internet connection since middle school is beyond me. At least with the dropping of the class you will potentially be starting at the beginning of a year and not in the middle, yes? The library... Damn. I really wish I would have known you guys were interested still. Like I said, we just hired three new people last month, and it's the slow season. Also, Sheryl the ubberdike lesbian who is now in charge has thrown out literally a couple thousand books in the past six months so our circulation is suffering and us pages are nearly board to tears when we work. Last night we ran out of books to shelve twice. We kept pouncing on the recent returns cart like starving animals. It was sad. Anyway, you guilt me, you know. This month so far I've gotten 14,000 page loads. Last month was 58,000. Why the hell do they keep coming? I sure as hell ain't updating! Tell me if the Cowboy Bebop movie is worth it. I'm curious. And, I'll probably tell you this at lunch, but PD2's real plot is completly a movie plot. In the book she's not even in high school yet, let alone a college graduate looking to marry. The only things they took from the book were the tiny side jokes and junk... Like the mom being pregnant... Which, in the book she was knocked up, not married. And, some of the cat and dog referances. Not much else. *falls asleep on the computer desk* See you at lunch!

A series for children, actually. I think there are six so far? Meg Cabot is the author. Most Disney movies recently have been based on up-and-coming children's books. The Cheetah Girls, Princess Diaries, A Series of Unfortunate Evens, Ella Enchanged... Yeah.

I can't remember the last completly original Disney movie I saw. *thinks* Was The Emperor's New Groove based on an actual thing or not? It's not Disney's fault alone. Most movies are based on books these days. *looks at top weekend 100* Isn't Vanity Fair a play? The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy are both books. The Exorcist series was based on a priest's book, Spiderman is a comic book. I, Robot. The Notebook... Isn't that another Nicolas Sparks book? He's also responsible for that Walk to Remember Crap. Thin he was behind Message in a Bottle, too. We can't forget Harry Potter, Catwoman, Kind Arthur, and A Cinderella Story. The Stepford Wives is a short story/novella. Anyway, just saying... It's not only Disney. Working at a library has showed me just how preferable it is to base a movie on an established book. As long as you've never read the original, you'll love it.

BTW have you dropped the Sasso class yet? Is that what you were doing during karate? You were missed. and stuff. *~hugs~*

Sorry I wwas such a pain during all the shopping the other day. Thank you for taking me to Priscillas. I always think someone will kidnap me if I go in there alone. Heh heh, maybe just an odd fear, but I doubt it. It would more than likely happen. Cat-napper!
