karasumaakaneApparently I've been using a phantom dial-up number for the last year or so. *_* Ok, my dial-up wouldn't work late Thursday night, so I called my ISP on Friday and explained the situation. After asking for the dial-up number she later came back says that number had never been registered to them.... Que? Then how did I connect to the internet? It is still a mystery and will probably remain one. Whenever the dial-up connected on the old computer it was always about 49 Kbps, but this new one connects at 115 Kbps. Same ISP - different speed. Once again, I am thoroughly confused, but I'm enjoying the upped speed. For the first time ever Azureus had a green :D face; before it had always been a yellow =/ face. I believe I win on this one.
I'm still settling into this new system - fairly quickly mind you, but still working on it. I was told it took them almost three hours to transfer all the data from my old hard drive to the new one. Ooops! ^_^ I am a image and downloading whore! I admit. I'm not sure what's going to happen to the old one, but we shall think of something.
Good cheese I'm still tired. I didn't think I did that much this week. I think I am sore from being thrown around by Crissy. The soreness only set in today. Oh well, a couple more nights of sleep and a hot bath should do the trick. Tomorrow (er - today) I'm going to my little cousin's birthday party at 3pm. Then Cassie and I want to see Constantine later at 7:15. So if anyone else wants to come just tell me! :D
I can't wait to see Ami's Chibi Gaara doll. Speaking of which, we went to various places today looking to feed her dress-up doll needs. I have to say that the toys out now are pretty freaking cool. Where were those when I was a kid? Our toys weren't that cool, but they are making it up to us by having cooler adult toys! Yeah for computers! (what were you thinking about you dirty squirrels?!) We also went into Best Buy and I still haven't used the gift card, but I have an idea of what I'm going to purchase. I wasn't going to buy the FMA series, but after watching tonights episode... I think I'll give in and buy it. Roy Mustang, aka The "Flame" Alchemist, still continues to suprise me. At first he was just a snobby, stoic Colonel, but each new episode reveals something about him that I would have never guessed. .....I'm trying to supress the fangirl urges, but I losing.... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD I <3 FMA!
No, Hotaru, don't tell me any spoilers... I want to be surprised! That's why I'm staying away from the LJ communities - I know better.
